Game Jams

Game Jams are currently our biggest events and occur on a relatively seasonal basis. There will be a theme announcement at the start of the jam, with the goal of building a game based upon the theme. The themes may also come with mutators: additional challenges to steer your development. Our jams are casual, non-competitive, and anti-crunch. 

Jams take anywhere from a weekend to a full month. Our jam room is typically the Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI) Room 158. For the in-person person of the event, you must be either 19+ or a current UNO student (submission is open to everyone). 

Participation will get you an Award of Questionable Value to commemorate your time.
