Ludum Dare starts tonight at 8PM and runs all weekend at CAMP.

Alex Meyers, Director of the Game Studies program at Bellevue University will be coordinating the event for us. We need artists, programmers, designers… and just people with fun ideas! All you need to do is show up!

For those not familiar with Ludum Dare, it is basically a big game jam combined with a competition — although they call it an “accelerated game development event.” The idea? Make a game in 48 hours! Because people will be working in teams, everyone is welcome to come and participate.

For more details on who is going to be there and how it should work, jump over to this thread on the OGDA forums. Remember to drop a note on there to let people know you are planning to attend and participate!

Remember, since this is the same weekend as our regularly scheduled OGDA meeting, we will not be having a regular meeting on Saturday. However, there should be plenty of people… er…camped out… at CAMP for you to visit!
