Long-time industry veteran and ex-OGDA member, Bobby Steele, left us during 2011 to move back to Fresno and pursue his dream of opening his own studio. He has done so, starting Steele Game Studios. Bobby recently informed us that during September of 2011, they will be releasing their first game, Double Pinochle for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, Bada, and MeeGo with an Android and other platforms to be following soon thereafter.

Bobby was an excellent influence in Omaha, both through the OGDA and through his work at ITT Tech here in town. We are all happy to see him excel… although we are mildly annoyed that he left Omaha to do it!
